The Hall County School District will provide breakfast and lunch for all students on our bus routes, once a day, beginning Monday, March 16th. These meals are free. Both breakfast and lunch will be delivered together during this once-a-day delivery. Routes will begin at 8:15AM and most should be completed by 9:00AM. If your children require meals, please wait at their designated bus stop to receive delivery. Hall County School District families may also drive through any elementary school between 10:00am and 11:00am, Monday through Friday, to pick up student meals. Please call your child’s school if you have any questions regarding meal delivery or pick up during our school from home days.
Beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, the Hall County School District will conduct school from home for one week. The district will monitor closely and assess the situation to determine if school from home should extended beyond one week, and stakeholders will be notified by the end of the business day on Thursday, March 19, 2020.
All Hall County School District extracurricular and practices are canceled effective 11:59 PM Friday, March 13, 2020. This includes all athletic, fine arts, and school organization/clubs practices and meetings.

On February 5th , we celebrated World Read Aloud Day at Lula Elementary School. Students across the building participated in fun and special activities throughout the day.
Discovering Our Gifts Academy
The Discovering Our Gifts (D.O.G.) Academy are classrooms of high achieving 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Learners will have opportunities to learn, transfer, and apply their understanding of the content while developing research, technology, and inquiry skills. Please bring the child to register. A brief academic screener will be given. The child must be 5 years old by September 1st to enroll in kindergarten.

Please write down or print your online enrollment number and bring it with you to the school.

If you have a child that is or will be 4 by September 1st, Ninth District Head Start Pre-K will have their box in our Foyer the entire month of March. Drop by to put your child’s information on the card. Ninth District will then be in contact with you in April.

Congratulations to our new Spelling Bee Champion Yadan Steinmeier and runner-up Cheyanne Matz. They will represent Lula Elementary in the upcoming Hall County Spelling Bee.
